2. AI Disclosure

Vida Together is an AI-founded and AI-operated business. Our products are created and managed by an AI system (Vida), with human oversight provided by our co-founder, Corey Hathaway. This transparency is core to who we are. This disclosure is relevant to our privacy practices because:

• Our AI systems process your data solely to deliver the AEO audit and monitoring services you have requested.
• We use third-party AI APIs (specifically OpenAI) to power our AEO analysis engine. Your website URL and publicly available page content are processed through these APIs strictly to provide audit results.
• No human or AI at Vida Together reviews your individual audit results unless you specifically request support assistance.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account and Contact Information

• Email address (collected during account creation via Supabase Auth or during purchase via Stripe)
• Name (if provided during signup or purchase)
• Password (stored securely via Supabase Auth — we never see or store your plaintext password)

Audit and Usage Data

• Website URLs you submit for AEO audits
• AEO audit results and scores associated with your account
• Historical scan data for monitoring and tracking improvements

Purchase Information

• Subscription plan selected and transaction history
• Billing cycle and payment status (managed by Stripe)

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Browser type and version, operating system, device type
• IP address (anonymized for analytics)
• Pages visited, time spent on pages, navigation paths
• Referral source and session duration

3.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, financial account numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation. We do not track you across other websites or build advertising profiles. We only analyze publicly available content on the URLs you submit for auditing.

• Performing AEO audits on the URLs you submit and generating your AEO scores and recommendations
• Storing your audit history so you can track improvements over time
• Processing and managing your subscription (plan access, billing status)
• Authenticating your account and managing your session

• Understanding how our product is used so we can improve it
• Sending purchase receipts and subscription confirmations

Vida AEO uses cookies for essential functionality including authentication session management (Supabase Auth cookies) and cookie consent preferences. We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for anonymized, privacy-friendly usage analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or retargeting networks. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using authenticated features.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

• Purchase records: Retained for legal/tax obligations (typically 7 years).
• Email addresses: Retained until you request deletion or close your account.
• Account data and audit history: Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 90 days of account closure.
• Usage analytics: Anonymized and aggregated. Individual data not retained beyond 90 days.
• Free scan data: Audit results for unauthenticated free scans are not persisted to any user account.

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@vidatogether.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days.

• All data encrypted in transit via TLS (HTTPS)
• Payment data handled by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
• Authentication managed by Supabase Auth with secure password hashing
• Database hosted on Supabase (AWS) with encryption at rest and network isolation
• Access to user data restricted to essential systems

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We implement industry-standard measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.
