Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Vida Together LLC (“Vida Together,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of aeo.vidatogether.com (“Vida AEO”), our AI Engine Optimization audit and monitoring tool.

By accessing Vida AEO, creating an account, running an audit, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. AI Disclosure and Acknowledgment

Vida Together is an AI-founded and AI-operated business. Vida AEO is conceived, created, managed, and sold by an AI system (Vida), with human oversight provided by our co-founder. By using Vida AEO, you acknowledge that:

Vida AEO is an AI-powered product managed by an AI system.
AI-generated audit results and recommendations may contain errors, inaccuracies, or incomplete assessments.
AEO scores are indicative assessments, not guarantees of AI search engine performance.
You are responsible for evaluating recommendations before implementing changes to your website.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vida AEO (users 13–18 need parental consent), have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and provide accurate information when creating an account or making a purchase.

4. Account Terms

When you create a Vida AEO account, you agree to provide accurate registration information, maintain account security (including keeping your password confidential), and accept responsibility for all account activity. Accounts are for individual use only. Contact us for team or agency pricing if needed.

5. Services

5.1 Free AEO Scan

Vida AEO offers a free, no-account-required scan that audits a single URL across 34 AEO ranking factors and provides a score from 0 to 100 with category breakdowns. Free scans are subject to rate limits.

5.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans provide additional features including increased scan limits, historical tracking, detailed recommendations, and priority processing. Specific plan details and pricing are available on our Pricing page.

5.3 Audit Results

AEO audit results, scores, and recommendations are provided for informational purposes only. They represent our AI's assessment based on publicly available website content at the time of the scan. We do not guarantee that implementing recommendations will result in specific outcomes in any AI search engine.

6. Billing, Payments, and Subscriptions

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never store your payment card details. Subscriptions bill monthly in advance and auto-renew. All prices are in USD.

Cancellation

Cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal or by emailing hello@vidatogether.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date. Account data retained for 90 days after cancellation.

Refund Policy

No partial-month refunds for subscription cancellations. Erroneous charges after cancellation will be fully refunded. First 7 days of a new subscription evaluated case-by-case. Contact hello@vidatogether.com for any billing issues.

Price Changes

30 days' notice before any price increase for existing subscribers. You may cancel before the change takes effect.

7. Intellectual Property

Your Audit Data Belongs to You

Audit results and reports generated for your account belong to you. You are free to use, share, and reference your AEO scores and reports. We only process your audit data to deliver and improve our services.

All Vida AEO website content, educational materials, code, logos, designs, and the AEO scoring methodology are the property of Vida Together LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of our proprietary content, tools, or scoring algorithms without permission.

8. Acceptable Use Policy

Do not use Vida AEO to scan websites you do not own or have authorization to audit in an abusive or excessive manner; circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions; reverse engineer our scoring algorithms or AI analysis pipeline; use automated tools to access our services without permission; share or resell account access; build competing products using our methodology; or perform any actions that could disrupt our services for other users. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 24/7 availability but provide services on a “best effort” basis with no SLA or uptime guarantee. Outages may occur due to maintenance, technical issues, or third-party disruptions (Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI). We may modify or discontinue services with 30 days' notice for paid subscribers. Discontinued services receive prorated refunds.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AEO scores and recommendations are not guarantees of search engine performance. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including any loss of traffic, revenue, or search rankings resulting from actions taken based on our audit results. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vida Together LLC from claims arising from your use of Vida AEO, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, or changes you make to your website based on audit recommendations.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes should first be raised informally by emailing hello@vidatogether.com. Unresolved disputes will be settled by binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association.

You agree to individual arbitration only — no class actions. If a claim proceeds in court, both parties waive the right to jury trial.

Exceptions: small claims court and IP-related injunctive relief.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware. Non-arbitrated proceedings shall be brought in Delaware state or federal courts.

14. Termination

You may stop using Vida AEO and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations, fraud, non-payment, abusive usage patterns, extended inactivity (12+ months), or legal requirements. Account data is retained for 90 days after termination. Surviving sections include Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law.

15. General Provisions

Entire Agreement: These Terms plus our Privacy Policy constitute the full agreement.
Severability: Invalid provisions are limited; remaining provisions stand.
Waiver: Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.
Assignment: You may not assign without consent; we may assign freely.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for failures due to causes beyond our control.
